This one turned out pretty cute! About 18 cm wide. I have big wine glasses, yes. Bought T-pins for blocking the other day and I don’t know yet if I like them. Thicker than I am used to, but …
After I have starched them with glue, pinned and let them dry, I iron them on low heat (to high and the glue burns … … ) and that gives them an extra neat look yet the fibres do not look flattended. They soften when warmed anf then stiffens again when they cool which gives a chance to adjust some angles. It’s a matter of maybe ten seconds with this thin yarn but I just do it several times. Really easy to adjust and straighten picots also, which I find hard to pin down, especially with these thicker pins. Make sure to use some kind of paper between the piece and the iron, otherwise there are sticky problems. The glue doesn’t melt, it just softens, but will stick and probably burn easily if directly under the iron.
